this case gets the job done. card seems securely put. however, even when everything is screwed in (1 screw), case is not COMPLETELY tight, like it moves around a tiny bit on the other side where there is no screw. but this is very subtle and there is no way the card will fall out or anything. i also believe that it's secured enough that it will be safe even if you dropped it (i have not).
oh, and this case is not glass. although i think that might be more heavy and nicer, it can also break obviously. i dont know if they even make glass material of this but just thought i should mention. it is like plastic-ish type of material by the way.

Let me say I would buy these again although the rest of this review might sound a little negative.

As others have mentioned, a standard card will move around inside these slightly. Overall it isn't too bad, but it is kind of odd they'd make it oversize.

The main problem with these is the self-tapping screws shipped with them. Well, not so much the screws, but more of the fact the pre-drilled hole on the base side isn't quite large enough. What happens the first time you put the screw in is it kicks out a ton of plastic from the hole and fills the gap between the cover piece and the base. If you kept tightening it will snap something on it.

The trick to doing it is:

Before putting in the card, put the case together. Start putting in the screw until about half way (you'll see a ton of plastic filling the gap between the two halves). Take the screw out and pick off the plastic which was brought out of the base's hole from the tapping screw (you can pick it off with a finger). Then put it together again this time tightening all the way. Take the screw out and pick off the excess plastic again. Now you're ready to put the card it and simply put in the screw.

If you don't do this picking of plastic you will crack something or at least have a huge gap in the pieces.
