colonel america is pretty accurate to the comic book, sporting removable top of his head to reveal his exposed brains just like in the comic and comes with a wearable shield with elastic bands which you can use to either afix to his arm, rest on the ground beside him, have him hold in his hand like a frisbee or have him wear across his back like he does in the comics.
the detail to his sculpt is quite impressive from the individual scaling of his shirt to the stitch work of the star on his chest and on the a on his hood.
articulation in shuolders, elbows, wrists, neck, waist, thighs,knees and ankles. comes with a sectional diorama piece to stand on depicting the aftermath of the silver surfer fight (this one is the arm). looks great as an individual piece but seriously, i would highly recommend collecting the whole series to get the full effect of the display.

The figure is great. It is very detailed and even gives you the ability to take off the top of his head to match his injury in the comic that Magneto gave him. The only problem I have with the figure is that there is no way to actually attach him to the platform that comes with it, so it may fall over pretty frequently. In order to combat that flaw, I never took mine out of the box...
