The card game, Killer Bunnies, is wonderful! My entire family loves playing together. We just added the red booster pack and the new cards add so much more to the game. We own several more "booster" packs, but are adding them one at a time in order to fully enjoy the new twists and turns. This is a great card game if you have a sense of humor, like loud games, and don't mind killing your opponents bunnies.

Definitely adds to the fun and originality of the great game of killer bunnies.
A few new rules and items to learn, but not too difficult. The more difficult things come in later expansions.
One rule to remember about expansions... buy them in order! They build on each other, so if you skip one, you will be scratching your head once and a while trying to figure some things out.

This Red Booster can be purchased with the starter Killer Bunnies set and won't add any confusion for beginners. The cards in this Red set are both useful and amusing.
I rated the educational value as a 3/5 because, though this is a simple card game that virtually anyone with little to knowledge (not trying to be crass) can play, so long as the rules are explained well enough, many of the cards contain tons of literary and cultural references that'll make people think "Hmm... I wonder what this reference is." Hopefully, then, it'll have players look up the reference...and learn something new!
Though the quality of the cards has declined over the years, they are still durable.
All in all, if you want to complete the QftMC set, you have to buy this booster, just as with the other boosters. The entire sets were made at once, but separated into respective booster decks to eliminate confusion for beginners and ameliorate its replay value.

This "red booster pack" is an extension to the Killer Bunnies game. You'll need the base game (blue) and the yellow extension pack to play, and that base game is awsome -- it is the only game I've played that encourages players making deals, and this adds a whole new dimension of fun. I've mixed feelings on the red cards. Some are really fun (like the red bunnies), some are really complicated without adding much to the game (like the Weapons Emporium -- there's seldom enough money to buy them anyway), and some are too deadly. However, it is easy enough to sort through the deck, and pick out the ones you want to use. Look, they are all fun and funny cards; I'm just reminding you that Killer Bunnies is all about negotiation -- so, negotiate which cards you want to use. The extra carrot cards extend the durration of the average game somewhat.

The red booster deck is one of the better Killer Bunnies booster decks. We love the new red bunnies and some of the cards that go along with them. If you enjoy Playroom Entertainment Killer Bunnies and the Quest for the Magic Carrot Blue Starter Set, this will add to your fun!
