Great gag giftFeb 04, 2012
By Mordecai These are durable little critters that provide great shock value. A germ-a-phobe friend of mine laughed and laughed upon receiving several of these from me. They seem really well made and the tag included with each one is great. The tags tend to make the reader more conscious of the disease, saying things like "once in your food, this cannot be cooked out", which makes them great for gag gifts. Also, educationally, these would probably be great too, as the tags describe at length what each disease is, how it is constructed, and what it does. They seem factual, yet humorous.
The ONLY WAY you want to get Swine Flu!Dec 11, 2011

"Mother Dragon"
My daughter and I have been collecting Giant Microbe products for a few years: me, professionally, and she, for education and her future profession. Unfortunately, she got the real Swine Flu before vaccine was available to the healthy population two years ago. She was horribly sick for 2 weeks, but got through it with a sense of humor, a professional curiosity, and a good story to tell. So, in memoriam of her experience, I have secured her the symbolic plushie to go with the antibodies she now carries! As a future scientist, she loves these things. They are well constructed and come with a great little pamphlet explaining what they are. A little germy fun for those of us with a warped sense of humor!
Great PrizeJul 06, 2011
By milkm23 These are great prizes for science fairs or any class related project. I gave them to the top three place finishers in the New York State Science Olympiad "Microbe Mission" event. Both the MS and HS division winners loved them equally with the HS kids possibly more so.
H1N1: Nothing betterApr 08, 2011
By B. Doctor If you like to spread diseases, this is the best way to do it. And its cute enough that most people actually want to get H1N1.
Funny!Mar 10, 2010
By Laura A great gift for someone who was paranoid of the Swine Flu! Hanging in her office now. Funny conversation starter.
