Great intro to microbiology/personal care for kidsJul 26, 2007

This was my child's first giant microbe and the one that hooked him onto all of their products. He first saw this guy in a display at the science center during a class field trip and convinced me to take him back that weekend to see it for myself. These are great products. Rhinovirus in particular is cute, soft, cuddly, and pretty durable. I would recommend this one as also being good for the younger scientists (over age 3 per product recommendations) as the subject is not as serious as some of the others (black death, ebola) and this one is more durable than some of the others. Information tag is attractive and incredibly educational, do not lose it. Highly recommended.

Nice and soft little plush toy. It hasn't proved to be very educational, but I like occasionally throwing it at people.

The "common cold" plush toy made the perfect gift for a family Yankee swap. It is a little overpriced for being a stuffed animal just bigger than the size of a baseball, but it is original.
If you have an occasion to give it, or are just dorky, it is a good buy.
