They're dice. 10-sided dice, to be more specific. They came in a little pull-string bag so you don't loose 'em. They do what they were designed to do - give a sense of "chance" to role-playing.
Random selection of dice, but none of them I got were particularly "ugly." They won't match, so if you don't care about getting a whole "matching set" I say give this product a try.

Look, I'm a gaming geek, so I like dice -- all kinds of dice. Chessex is the industry leader in polyhedral dice, so it's no surprise that Chessex's 10-sided random dice package is a winner. The edges of each die are clean and the numbers on each face are easy to read. That's all you really need in the gaming realm to slay dragons and fend off brain-eating aliens. The plastics used to create the dice come in a variety of colors and "texture" combinations making the dice visually interesting.
