Recommendation on Box HousesMay 14, 2007
By J. Zimmerman These comic book box houses (or shells) for short boxes work very well. I was very pleased and impressed with the vendor, who at first sent me the wrong item but was very quick to correct their mistake at their cost. One suggestion: as advertised, these houses/shells probably work best with flat pieces of cardboard or plywood placed in-between layers, or at least on the top layer. It will give them extra stability when pulling out box drawers.

Misleading itemOct 08, 2011
By Douglas Morrissey I suppose I could have read the product description more thoroughly but I assumed that the picture of this product reflected what the product actually is. Nothing could be further from the truth. These boxes are not what is pictured on the product page. They are shells to put other boxes in. The producer and Amazon should both be ashamed of what they have done on this page.

Not what I had in mind...May 22, 2010

I guess I was not aware of the type of Comic Book box I was buying. I received these in the mail on time- no problem. But I had never seen these kinds of Comic Book Boxes before- they are without lids, only standards box construction with fold-together closures. I needed boxes with the lift-off lids.
So, I will use them for something else.
