I have used this product to replace old plastic storage bins I had. Not only are the boxes more sturdy they also hold more comics than the bins. I will absolutely buy again.

My guess is these are regular office/moving boxes that were adapted to comic book size by someone who doesn't actually know anything about collecting comics.
The worst part of this box is the handle design. The handles are formed by little flaps that you punch out and push inside the box. Those handle flaps are evidently supposed to hold the inner side walls in place, but this is a pipe dream. Also, the handle flaps create a bar of cardboard at either end of the box interior, and you definitely would not want that un-flat portion pressing against your comic books. I ended up putting an extra piece of thick mat board as an extra liner at each end. (My old yellowed boxes that I replaced were double-walled and completely smooth and flat inside when put together.)
Lack of assembly instructions enabled me to exercise my neural pathways. It was a minor puzzle that took a couple minutes of staring to figure it out.
I'm not UNhappy with these. Ten boxes for under $40, after all. At that price, they'll get me by until I can afford proper archival storage.
(Lids are included, despite the one-star reviewer's assertion.)

I ordered this bundle of boxes based on the description. Unfortunately, what arrived in the mail did not match up. To begin with, the cardboard is horrible. It tore during assembly. Even so, once assembled, I figured it still wasn't bad enough to merit a return. I loaded up my comics, turned to the bundle and looked for a lid . . . There were no lids. The picture shows a lid, the boxes are described as stackable, and yet, without a lid, one cannot stack them. I will be returning this product promptly. Do not buy!

The boxes are definitely "not bad." I wouldn't classify them as high quality, though. Basically, if you're looking for storage boxes for comics that you treasure dearly and don't want damaged, I would look elsewhere. However, if you're like me and need these boxes to store some comics, but mostly zines and booklets, and you're just going to jam them into your bookshelf wherever they'll fit, then these boxes will work just fine. It did take me a minute to try and figure out how to put the boxes together (even a small printed diagram would have helped immensely) but I give the item 4 stars.

Despite seeing a few bad reviews i took a gamble. And in 25 plus years years of comic collecting i never found boxes this good. Strong, simple, and the smaller size makes them easy to store. I am converting my whole collection!
