SPX are just incredible. I loved them, everyone collected them when they were retailed, they are all holographic and beautiful!Jan 27, 2009

SPX was like the IT card set to collect back when I collected and traded when i was young, I was in 4th grade and about 11 of the 23 kids in my class brought their hockey cards to class daily. Whoever had the best SPX was pretty much who every everyone wanted to trade with, which was me heheh. I did unfortunately get rid of them a few years ago, I hadnt collected in so many years that I sold whatever I could. Luckily I found this on here and I was very excited to get it. I could not believe that I got both of the SE (special edition) set cards, the quad-hologram rookie card and the dual hologram gretzky tribute. I also got a very nice Mario Lemiux insert and a Steve Yzerman , Daniel Alfredsson, Brendan Shannahan and Patrick Roy gold. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! EVERY SINGLE ONE OF MY TOP 5 FAVORITE PLAYERS AND THE TOP 5 RANKED CARDS!!! I had never been so lucky in my life, and i even had a dream of getting the Yzerman gold the previous night. I have a lot of respect for those players and it is nice to have a view of their history. I got a little excited, but I want people to know that SPX is one of the best looking sets ever put together, and the cards are very durable. Who knows, I am sure a few of those Gretzky Autographs are out there still.
