Great display piece but the scale is wrong in a good wayAug 28, 2011

This is a very accurate Captaing America Shield representation from the 1940's era depiction of the comic book hero. But be forwarned if you want this displayed as I oringinally thought of which is to display it with my 1/6 scale figures its not going to match. The box clearly states its a 1/6 scale but opening it up this is clearly more of a 1/4 scale so now I display this piece on my desk with Marvel props within the same scale for the price I bought it for at $19.99 I'm very happy shield has definite weight to even the back of the shield is very detailed with straps just like what Captain America would bring to battle, the shield stand is well made as well and simple to not take anything away from the shield itself.
Overall this a good collectible to own if you're a fan of Marvel especially if you're a fan of Captain America.

I bought this as a gift for my father, who is a huge captain america fan, i knew he liked the original shield compared to the newer circular shield. great detail was put into this collectors item and i recommend it for any collection!
